We are looking for more local and enthusiastic vendors to join our growing family! The Fortville Farmers Market is an excellent opportunity to put your product out there for the community to see. Last year, we averaged 30 booths and over 400 unique visits each week!
About Us
2025 Location
We are hosting the market in Landmark Park in downtown Fortville. The map below will show the market location, and this will allow us to host all of your favorite vendors while also providing ample parking for those shopping the market. It is also allowing for those visiting the market to take a quick walk to downtown Fortville and shop all the great businesses in downtown Fortville!
Our Market
The Fortville Farmers Market is an auxiliary function of the Northern Hancock Area Chamber of Commerce. Considered by many to be one of the top farmers’ markets in the region, the Fortville Farmers’ Market showcases vendors from Central Indiana that offer fresh produce, baked goods, honey, specialty food items, meats, cheeses, coffee, plants, and much more! Juried to the strictest standards, the market is a destination for fresh, local, flavorful foods direct from farmers and producers.
Dog Policy
The Fortville Farmers Market knows that many of our shoppers enjoy bringing their canine companions to our Market. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you at the Market, and if you plan to bring your four-legged pal, please review our dog guidelines to help our visitors have a safe and enjoyable Market experience. Thank you for your cooperation!
- Dogs must be comfortable around crowds and other dogs to shop at the market.
- Dogs must be short-leashed with leash in-hand, well-mannered and by your side at all times.
- Dogs must be kept away from products, plants and other market/vendor fixtures – both head and tail ends.
- Any damages caused by a dog (such as marking of product, tent poles, weights, or other fixtures) will be the responsibility of the dog owner and may include the costs associated with the replacement or cleaning of the damaged item.
Weather Policy
The weather policy of the market is determined by each vendor individually. Unless there is severe weather (like tornado watch) the market leadership team will always leave the decision up to each vendor as to whether they will participate on that given day.
